Premiership-Content-Partner-HiltonJune 20 - USA Gymnastics has extended its official hotel partner deal with Hilton HHonors that will see the loyalty programme support top athletes and more than 100,000 members of the national governing body through to 2016.

As part of the agreement, the hotel reward scheme will continue its support of Team Hilton HHonors, which provides financial backing for male gymnasts while they pursue their Olympic dreams - last year the initiative looked after the likes of double Beijing 2008 medallist Jonathan Horton, London 2012 star Danell Leyva and national champion John Orozco.

The new Team Hilton HHonors is due to be named in the near future.

"Hilton HHonors was an important part of our athletes' success in 2012," USA Gymnastics President Steve Penny said.

"In addition to providing direct financial support for top male gymnasts, HHonors also contributed to our national team's comfort and rest by financing improvements at the USA Gymnastics national team training centre at the Karolyi Ranch.

"HHonors also delivered benefits to our entire organisation through hotel room discounts.

"We look forward to building upon that foundation through the comprehensive partnership on our road to Rio de Janeiro and the 2016 Olympic Games."

Hilton HHonors, which is also a longstanding partner of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), allows the USA Gymnastics family to stay at any of the 3,900 hotels and resorts within the company's portfolio for a reduced price.

"Hilton HHonors is proud to extend its partnership with USA Gymnastics, continuing our commitment to the US Olympic Movement and Olympic hopefuls," said Jeff Diskin, executive vice-president of commercial services for Hilton Worldwide.

"We were honoured to contribute to valuable initiatives in 2011 and 2012 to assist USA Gymnastics athletes in their pursuit of Olympic gold and we look forward to opportunities over the course of the next three years to continue that effort."

USA Gymnastics' partnership with Hilton HHonors dates back to 2011.
