November 11 - London 2012 star Stefanie Reid is making a new name for herself in the modelling worldLondon 2012 Paralympic long jump silver medallist Stefanie Reid is donning her high heels again as she is set to take part in the Ideal Home Christmas Show at London's Earls Court this week.

Reid is teaming up with fashion agency Models of Diversity once again and will be strutting her stuff on the catwalk wearing designs from Jo Irvine while her make-up will be done by artists from the Delamar Academy in London at the event on Thursday (November 14).

The 29-year-old who lost her foot in a boating accident aged 16 will be making her second appearance on the catwalk after making her debut at a Catwalk4Change event in September, also run by Models of Diversity.

The Beijing 2008 bronze medal winner in the T44 categoary also fronted a diversity in fashion campaign run by high street retailers Debenhams back in April of this year and is looking forward to continuing her foray into the fashion world this week.

"I've loved everything I have done in the fashion world, and I am so excited to walk the catwalk with Models of Diversity again," said Reid, who also has a degree in bio chemistry from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada, where she was raised by her British parents.

"I believe that all bodies matter and that all bodies deserve to be dressed well and represented in the fashion industry."

Reid is one of a number of models used by the Models of Diversity agency which aims to advocate more diversity in the fashion and marketing industries by using women of all races, ages, shapes, sizes and abilities.

"Everyone at Models of Diversity is so excited to be working with Stef again," said founder of Models of Diversity and Sinclair Model Management, Angel Sinclair.

"Stef is the perfect model for us to show the world what we at Models of Diversity are about and the changes we are striving to make in the fashion world.

"Not only is Stef a great role model for people with disabilities, she is a great model for people without disabilities.

"We want to show the fashion world that dressing a five foot nine inch woman in clothes is not the only way to make clothes appealing.

"The public want people they can relate to, people that inspire them and Stef is the ideal model to put that message across and show what we are trying to change in the fashion world."
