The Aussie Sharks followed the lead of their female counterparts the Stingers - who defeated China last night - to claim a win over a Croatian side containing six of the London 2012 gold medal winning line-up, on a scoreline of 12-9.

Jarrod Campbell was the star man for the Aussies as he bagged four goals to help seal the win.

Much like the previous night's action, that home win was followed by a dominant display for the green and gold swimmers in the pool.

On the opening night, reigning world champions Cate Campbell and James Magnussen led the charge as Australia secured a string of victories, including the women's 4x200 metres freestyle relay.

The Japanese took the win in the men's freestyle event along with top spots in the men's 200m butterfly for Daiya Seto and Yasuhiro Koseki in the men's 100m breaststroke.

China's Yuanhi Fu and Olympic champion Ye Shiwen secured notable wins, as did Brazil's Nicholas Santos, while in the Para-swimming events Daniel Fox and Taylor Corry led home all-Australian podiums in the men's and women's 100m freestyle races.

The second day of action saw Campbell and Magnusson to the fore once again for the Aussies as they led home the team in the mixed 4x100m freestyle relay, while both were also involved in victories in the men's and women's freestyle relays.

Magnusson and Campbell unsurprisingly picked up the male and female swimmers of the meeting awards after also adding individual wins in the 50m freestyle races.

Australia also powered to glory in both medley relays while there was further individual success for Alicia Coutts, Taylor McKeown, Leiston Pickett, Christian Sprenger, Mack Horton and Jessica Ashwood.

In the Para-swimming events Australian dominance was completed by Kayla Clarke and London 2012 champion Matthew Levy in the 200m individual medleys.

Two wins for Kosuke Hagino and a victory for Miyu Otsuka saw Japan finish the meeting in overall second place behind the Australians, Jiayu Xu and Yuanhui Fu helped China finish third ahead of South Africa who were aided by winning performances from Olympic champion Chad le Clos and Karin Prinsloo.

Brazil finished in fifth place.

Tomorrow sees the final event of the meeting take place with the Swim the Swan open water challenge on the Swan River, incorporating the 2014 Australian Open Water Swimming Championships for the 10km.
