Suzie Pierrepont has stepped down from her position as acting Tour Director if the WSA ©WSAFebruary 4 - Suzie Pierrepont has become the latest name to leave her post at the Women's Squash Association (WSA) after stepping down as acting tour director.
The 29-year-old only began the role as America's tour director 11 months ago as the WSA began to grow across North America.

She was then appointed acting tour director, coinciding with the WSA's failure to find a backer for the Women's World Championships.

Although the WSA has now found a host city for these Championships, in Penang, Malaysia, due to take place on March 14, recent changes to the WSA's board have seen a complete overhaul in personnel with Australia's world number 11 Kasey Brown taking over as President.

Speaking to squashmad on Pierrepont's exit, Brown said: "The Board is saddened with the news of Suzie's departure.

"Her achievements in establishing a strong tour calendar for WSA is a reflection of her passion and commitment towards women's squash and everyone at WSA is so appreciative of the time and effort she has put in.

"We wish her all the best for her future endeavours."

Pierrepont continues to compete in the women's doubles squash tour, winning the 2013 US Open Championships alongside partner Narelle Krizek.

Despite the changes, stability is maintained at WSA with Kim Creamer continuing her duties as chief operating officer and Elliot Selby as WSA administrator.
