After earlier successes in Carezza, Italy and Rogla, Slovenia, the 20-year-old Czech made it a hat-trick in the final event at the Turkish venue to ensure that no other snowboarder will win in the discipline this season.

She took victory ahead of Austrians Sabine Schoeffmann and Ina Meschik with the 2015 parallel slalom world champion a deserved winner of the overall crystal globe.

Conditions in Kayseri were difficult due to rain, snow, cold wind and and poor visibility and the organisers delayed proceedings by 15 minutes on two occasions.

“The race wasn't as bad as everybody thought with all the bad weather," said Ledecka.

"But they were able to pull it off although it was hard for the fans as they could hardly see the finish line.

"It's been another different course this season and I'm happy how everything turned out today and with the title."

The overall men's giant slalom title went to Andrey Sobolev of Russia who was fourth in Kayseri, which proved to be enough.

He had been level with Radoslav Yankov going into the final event but the Bulgarian could only come seventh.

Austria's Andreas Prommegger won the event, ahead of Rok Marguc of Slovenia with German Patrick Bussler third.

Ledecka also looks well poised to win the overall Alpine Snowboard World Cup title, as she has 4390 points ahead of Russia's Ekaterina Tudegesheva who has 3460.

Two parallel slalom World Cup events remain this season.

In the men's overall race, Yankov leads the pack with 3650, ahead of Roland Fischnaller of Italy who sits on 2820.
