Enni Rukajärvi continued her superb International Ski Federation (FIS) Snowboard World Cup form with a second successive slopestyle victory today in Seiser Alm.

The Olympic silver medal winning Finn managed a score of 81.70 in the Italian resort.

It duly replicated her triumph at the World Cup competition last week in Laax in Switzerland.

Laurie Blouin of Canada scored 80.50 points to claim the second podium position.

Switzerland's Sina Candrian was narrowly pipped for bronze with 80.40.

Belgium's Seppe Smits won the corresponding men's event after a superb first run score of 88.30.

It came in a 1-3 finish for the European nation as Sebbe de Buck placed third with 85.75.

Britain's Jamie Nicholls claimed a first World Cup podium of the season to split the Belgian duo with silver on a score of 87.90.

The event is the first FIS Snowboard Slopestyle competition to be held in Seiser Alm.

The resort has previously staged Europa Cup and Junior World Championship competitions.

Action is due to conclude tomorrow with the men and women's freestyle finals.
