The Rio 2016 champion and three-time Paralympic silver medallist lifted the women's the SF4-5 singles title last week before teaming up with compatriot Nada Matic to secure the women’s team title in the same category at the Sports Hall Tri Lilije in Laško.

She departed the Slovenian city as the only female player to secure gold in both individual and team events.

In the round robin format, the Serbians finished top of the standings with four wins from four matches.

Their 100 per cent record was assured today when Perić-Ranković and Matic defeated Great Britain's Sue Gilroy and Megan Shackleton 2-0.

Success for the top seeds also continued into the women's class 2-3 competition.

Croatia’s Andela Muzinic and Helena Dretar completed a successful defence of their title as they beat Italy’s Michela Brunelli and Giada Rossi 2-0 today to secure first place.

Great Britain's Paul Karabardak, David Wetherill and Martin Perry took gold in the men’s class six team event.

The trio got the better of World Championships silver medallists Croatia in the final.

Karabardak and Wetherill defeated the Croatian combination of Pavao Jozic and former world number one Vjekoslav Gregorovic 3-2 in the doubles rubber.

In the opening singles match, Karabardak staged a great recovery to come from two games down to beat Jozic 3-2 and secure the title for Britain.

"It’s very special – my first major gold – and I’m so pleased that I could play my best table tennis and help the team to become European champions," said Karabardak.

It was a second medal at these Championships for Wetherill, a silver medallist in the men’s class six singles.

Turkey's Abdullah Ozturk and Nesim Turan successfully retained their men's team class four title.

The duo recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over French pairing Maxime Thomas and Florian Merrien in the gold medal match.
