Represented by a junior team, the Ukrainian squad clinched two gold medals at the X-Bionic Sphere in the town south-east of Bratislava.

Their squad ended the team free routine event with a score of 84.4668 points to top the podium places.

They were followed by Spain and Belarus, who managed tallies of 83,1332 and 82,5000 respectively.

"This is a new routine for our young team," said Valeriia Shylo, part of the victorious Ukrainian line-up.

"But this was the Olympic programme of the senior team in Rio.
