Competition will be spread across six days at the Fuzhou Mawei Stadium.

The men’s bodyweight categories are 55 kilograms, 61kg, 67kg, 73kg, 81kg, 89kg, 96kg, 102kg, 109kg and over-109kg.

The women are due to compete over 45kg, 49kg, 55kg, 59kg, 64kg, 71kg, 76kg, 81kg, 87kg and over-87kg.

Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded in snatch, clean and jerk and total in each category.

Winners will receive $2,000 (£1,500/€1,800).

Among the athletes due to compete at the event is reigning world champion and 2018 Asian Games gold medallist Eko Yuli Irawan.

The 61kg lifter is joined on the Indonesian team by the likes of Asian Games bronze medallist Surahmat Wijoyo, Syarah Anggraini and young hopeful Diah Ayu Permatasari.

Permatasari was crowned a national champion last year.

"She is new," Indonesia’s head coach Dirdja Wihardja was reported as saying by Xinhua.

"We continue to monitor her training sessions."
