China's Xu Mengtao wrapped up her third straight overall women's International Ski Federation Aerials World Cup title in style as she won the last event of the season in front of a home crowd at Shimao Lotus Mountain.

Xu's triumph was followed by compatriot Wang Xindi securing the men's crystal globe on a successful final day of the campaign for the Chinese team.

Xu triumphed in today's competition with a score of 101.16 points, with American Ashley Caldwell second on 93.41.

The bronze medal was claimed by another Chinese athlete in Xu Sicun, whose routine was rewarded with a total of 90.40.

Xu had a 70-point lead going into the event and eventually finished 111 points ahead of Xi on 410.

Victory handed the Sochi 2014 Olympic silver medallist her third consecutive aerials crystal globe and the fifth overall in her career.

Her team-mate Wang was all-but guaranteed to win the overall men's title as nearest challengers Maxim Burov and Stanislav Nikitin are competing at the Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk.

Wang was fourth today as Chinese youngster Sun Jiaxu secured his second victory of the weekend.

Sun, who claimed the first World Cup win of his career yesterday, topped the standings again with a score of 123.90.

Noe Roth of Switzerland narrowly missed out on gold as he managed 123.01 points to take silver, with bronze going to Anton Kushnir of Belarus on 121.72.
