United States and China both wrapped up team titles as the United World Wrestling Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov tournament concluded in Bulgaria.

The Americans claimed the freestyle wrestling crown as Rio 2016 Olympic champion Kyle Snyder triumphed at 96 kilograms.

Snyder defeated Valerii Andriitsev of Ukraine 4-0 for gold at the Arena Monbat in Ruse.

It helped the US to 147 points in the overall rankings, in front of Russia on 115 and Turkey on 100.

Jordan Burroughs and Alex Diereinger were the other American winners in Bulgaria. 

Iran won the other two freestyle golds today as the Ranking Series event came to an end.

Hassan Yazdani, also a Rio 2016 champion, beat Ali Shabanu of Belarus 16-5 at 86kg and Parvis Hadi ousted Oleksandr Khotsianivskyi of Ukraine 6-4 at 125kg.

China won the women's wrestling title with two victories from three on the final day.

The country had not tasted success before today but Pang Qianyu got the ball rolling by beating India's Vinesh Vinesh 9-2 at 53kg.

Reigning world champion Rong Ningning then beat Norway's Grace Bullen by fall at 57g to leave China on a winning tally of 112.

Ukraine finished second on 92 and United States ended on 77 for bronze.

Iwona Matkowska of Poland won the 50kg final against American Erin Golston, 4-1.
