The United States will contest the recurve and compound mixed team titles at the Archery World Cup in Medellin.

Brady Ellison and Casey Kaufhold reached the mixed team recurve final, defeating Venezuela, Spain and China 6-2 to advance through the brackets.

Ellison has won four World Cup titles in his career, while Kaufhold is experiencing her first senior international competition.

“We had some good matches, some tight matches and we had to shoot a lot of 10s," Ellison said.

"We both shot good and… it’s good for the first World Cup of the year.”

They will meet top seeds South Korea, who beat El Salvador in a shoot-off before securing 6-2 victories against Germany and France.
