Kris Schaff overcame Dutch world number one Mike Schloesser in a semi-final shoot-off to set up an all-American men's compound final at the Archery World Cup in Antalya.

Schaff defeated Schloesser in the tie-breaker after their contest ended 148-148 at Antalya Archery Field.

His opponent in the gold medal match will be compatriot James Lutz, who beat Colombian Daniel Munoz 149-146 in the other last-four encounter.

The US will have the opportunity to claim another gold in the men's events as Brady Ellison progressed to the recurve final following a 6-4 victory over Italian Mauro Nespoli.

Ellison, the four-time Archery World Cup champion, will take on Steve Wijler of the Netherlands in the final after the Dutch player ended the hopes of home favourite Mete Gazoz with a 6-4 win.
