Viktoriia Listunova clinched the women's all-around title as Russia won the team event at the Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships in Hungary.

The 14-year-old edged out team mate Vladislava Urazova by a slender 0.025 margin in a high-class competition in Győr.

Listunova finished her four-apparatus routine with a total of 55.323 points, pushing national junior champion Urazova into silver medal position on 55.298.

The bronze medal was claimed by China's Ou Yushan, who scored 54.931.

The triumph saw Listunova crowned the first women's world junior all-around champion at the inaugural edition of the International Gymnastics Federation event.

The Russian pair combined alongside Elena Gerasimova to secure the team crown as they outclassed the rest of the field with a score of 111.654.

China, whose team included Ou, Guan Chenchen and Wei Xiaoyuan, took silver on 109.497.

Sydney Barros, Skye Blakely and Kayla DiCello of the United States were forced to settle for bronze on 109.380 points.

The event continues with the first five apparatus finals tomorrow.
