Thailand and Singapore will contest the final at the Men's Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation Cup in Biñan after both came through their last four clashes today.

World number 14 side Thailand ended the hopes of host nation Philippines at the Alonte Sports Arena as they recorded a 13-7 victory.

Singapore, ranked at 16 in the world, thrashed South Korea 13-1 to maintain their 100 per cent record at the tournament.

Chusak Narkprasert was the star man for the Thais, scoring twice and assisting two more as the home side were beaten.

Philippines reached this stage by scoring in the last two seconds in their 5-4 quarter-final win against Malaysia yesterday but ran out of gas after an improved tournament which saw the country recruit players with links to Sweden, where floorball originated.

As the two winners of the group stage, both Thailand and Singapore advanced directly into today's semi-finals and did not have to play in the last eight.

Singapore have reached double figures in all of their victories with Juin Jie Ng bagging a hat-trick in today's rout, coupled with an assist.

It was an ominous win for the Thais who were beaten by South Korea in their first group game.

Tomorrow's final will pit the top two ranked teams in the tournament against each other, while Philippines will meet South Korea for bronze.

In play-off semi-finals to decide who finishes between fifth and eighth, Japan beat Pakistan 10-2 today while Malaysia pipped India 10-9.
