Mohammed "MoAuba" Harkous beat defending champion Mosaad Aldossary to clinch the FIFA eWorld Cup at the Grand Final in London.

"MoAuba" became the first German player to win the tournament after he overcame "Msdossary" 3-2 in the final at the O2 Arena.

The two players drew 1-1 in the opening leg of the final on the Xbox, the Saudi Arabian's home platform, before "MoAuba" triumphed 2-1 on his favoured PlayStation 4 to secure the World Cup crown.

Victory for "MoAuba" saw him take home the first prize of $250,000 (£206,000/€226,000).

"It's crazy, I can't believe it," said MoAuba after the final.

"I had such a hard bracket but I beat them all."

The German defied his pre-event status as he beat the three highest-ranked PS4 players en route to the final, including a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Argentina's Nicolas 'nicolas99fc' Villalba in the last four.
