The 65 kilograms final pits Iran’s Amirhossein Azim Maghsoudi against Russia’s Kurban Shiraev with the former beating Turkey’s Ahmet Salim Yigit 7-0 and the latter defeating Kazakhstan’s Syrbaz Talgat 5-2 in the semi-finals at the Estonian capital's Tondiraba Ice Hall.

Also one win away from winning a gold medal for Iran is Abbas Ali Foroutanrami, who is set to face Cuba’s Yonger Pauli Bastida Pomares in the 97kg final.

Russia’s other representative in a final is Amkhad Tashukhadzhiev, with Georgia’s Bagrati Gagnidze standing between him and glory in the 79kg category.

The two other finals determined today were those in the 57kg and 70kg divisions.

The United States' Vitali Arujau upset the odds to overcome reigning junior world champion Akhmed Idrisov of Russia 8-1 in the 57kg semi-finals.

It sets up a clash with Japan’s Toshiya Abe, who beat Armenia’s Vrezh Gevorgyan 10-3 in the other last-four encounter.

The 70kg final, meanwhile, is scheduled to feature Ukraine’s Erik Arushanian and Moldova’s Vasile Diacon.

Prior to tomorrow's finals, competition is due to begin in the 61kg, 74kg, 86kg, 92kg and 125kg freestyle categories.

The finals of those categories are scheduled for Wednesday (August 14).
