Georgians Davit Khutsishvili and Dato Marsagishvili lead their respective categories at the United World Wrestling Beach Wrestling World Series final in Zagreb.

Khutsishvili earned 3-0 wins over Georgios Koulouchidis of Greece and Serbian Aleksandar Nikolic to sit top of the men's 80 kilograms group phase in the Croatian capital city.

Nikolic and Koulouchidis have one win apiece after the duo both recorded 3-0 victories against Timotej Trbulin of Slovakia.

In the 90kg event Marsagishvili won his opening two contests to lead the rankings.

Marsagishvili won 3-1 against Christos Samartsidis of Greece before defeating Croatian Domenik Andreic 5-1.

Samartsidis sits second in the rankings after defeating Strahinja Dermanovic from Serbia 5-0.

Dermanovic claimed a 3-0 victory over Andreic on a 3-0 scoreline.

In the women's competition, Kateryna Mashkevych of Ukraine won 4-0 against Portuguese Carmen Gomes Teixiera Vieira in the 50kg category.

She will take on Kristal Kimberley Betanzo in her next bout after the American sent Gomes Teixiera Vieira to a second defeat of the day.

In the 60kg contest, Brazilian Camila Fama Tristao secured back-to-back wins against Isabel Cristina Rodrigues of Portugal and Valeriia Semonkina Zlatova from Ukraine.

There was also a double victory for Ukrainian Anna Mazurkevych in the women's 70kg category.

She won 3-0 against both Sonia Pereira Brazio of Portugal and Sara Trbulin from Slovakia.
