Great Britain's Corie Mapp won the second and final race at the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) Para Sport World Cup in Lillehammer today.

Mapp clocked the best time after the two runs in the Norwegian town, finishing in 1min 56.27sec.

Overall IBSF Para Sport World Cup champion Lonnie Bissonnette, winner of the first race yesterday ahead of Mapp, came second.

The Canadian was 0.26 seconds behind, while home favourite Guro Frønsdal, one of five female athletes in the race, was 0.29 seconds off the pace in third.

In the overall standings, Mapp and Bissonnette are tied for the lead with 435 points each after two out of 10 races. 

Frønsdal and Sweden's Sebastian Westin-Vippola, the third-place finisher yesterday, are joint third with 384 points.

The next stop on the 2019-2020 IBSF Para Sport World Cup tour is Oberhof, is due to be on Friday and Saturday (December 13 and 14). 

The fourth race of the season in the German town also counts as European Championships for the starters from the continent.
