Greece and Spain maintained their perfect record on the third day of group matches, at the International Swimming Federation World Men's Junior Water Polo Championships in Kuwait City.

Greece moved clear at the top of the Group D standings at the Al-Nasar Sport Club, recording a third consecutive victory.

The defending champions eased to a 13-2 win over Brazil, while their nearest challengers New Zealand faltered by losing 8-7 to Australia.

Greece now top the standings on six points, with New Zealand, Brazil and Australia all following on two.

Brazil and Australia have a game in hand on the top two teams.

Spain head the Group B standings after a 19-8 win over Russia maintained their 100 per cent start after three matches.

Second-placed Canada had a rest day, but could join the group leaders should they win their third match tomorrow.

Hungary moved up to third place with a 19-7 success against Egypt, which was their first victory of the tournament.

Rivals Serbia and Croatia head Group A after back-to-back victories.

Serbia were 26-6 winners against South Africa today, while Croatia eased to a comfortable 24-5 triumph over China.

Italy are the only unbeaten team in Group B after they beat Iran 16-4.

An 11-9 win over Montenegro saw the United States move level on points with Italy, however the American side have played one match more than the European team.
