Current world champion Parker, who also took bronze at the Commonwealth Games in 2018, won comfortably from her closest rival, Emily Tapp, clocking a time of 1 hour 13 min 43 seconds, nearly four minutes ahead of Tapp. 

Sara Tait would finish third. 

Beveridge ended up with one of the day's fastest times - 1:09:27 - and was more than two minutes clear of second-place Liam Twomey.

Clint Pickin won the men's PTS4 category, while Glen Jarvis and Jeremy Peacock would win the PTS2 and PTS3 classifications respectively. 

David Bryant won the men's PTS5 race, one of the day's closer contests, in a time of 1:04:36.

Andrew Wilkinson would take silver in a time of 1:06:55, with Joshua Kassulke a further 91 seconds back.

In the PTVI men's race, Jonathan Goerlach posted a time of 1:07:16 to win by more than three minutes ahead of Gerrard Gosens - Trevor Murphy in third was more than a further 11 minites behind Gosens.

In the women's PTVI race, Katie Kelly was victorious, finishing almost 30 minutes ahead of Shannon Cleave, who was one of only two athletes not from Australia to be competing.

She represents New Zealand just like Sharon Dagg, who took silver in the women's PTS4 category behind Sally Pilbeam.

Kate Doughty won the women's PTS5 race ahead of 16-year-old Molly Wallace.
