With titles in the 500 metres and 1500m already under her belt, the Olympic champion went on to triumph in the 1000m at Great Forest Park in the Hungarian city of Debrecen.

She crossed the line in 1min 33.353sec, holding off the challenge from compatriot Lara van Ruijven, who finished second in 1:33.464. 

Bronze went to Arianna Fontana of Italy in 1:33.596.

Fontana had more success in the 3000m, winning with a time of 5:46.150.

Fellow Italian Martina Valcepina came third in 5:46.618, while Ekaterina Efremenkova of Russia finished between them in 5:46.451. 

Schulting claimed her fourth gold medal in the women's 3000m relay, triumphing alongside Van Ruijven, Rianne de Vries and Yara van Kerkhof in 4:12.877.

The Italian team of Fontana, Cynthia Mascitto, Martina Valcepina and Nicole Botter Gomez were second in 4:13.022, while Efremenkova, Ekaterina Konstantinova, Emina Malagich and Sofia Prosvirnova earned bronze for Russia in 4:25.577.

Shaolin Sándor Liu of Hungary got his second gold of the competition, adding the men's 1000m title to the 500m. 

He recorded the winning time of 1:25.636, with younger brother Shaoang +0.031 back and Semen Elistratov of Russia completing the podium in 1:25.831.

Elistratov went on to claim gold in the 3000m in 4:57.674. 

Stijn Desmet of Belgium was the silver medallist in 4:57.721, with Itzhak de Laat of The Netherlands the bronze medallist in 4:57.766.

Elistratov was back on top of the podium in the men's 5000m relay, with teammates Daniil Eybog, Denis Ayrapetyan and Pavel Sitnikov, triumphing in 7:06.884. 

De Laat was a silver medallist with Daan Breeuwsma, Dennis Visser and Dylan Hoogerwerf in 7:06.984, while Italy's Andrea Cassinelli, Marco Giordano, Tommaso Dotti and Yuri Confortola came third in 7:07.055.
