Canada's Mikaël Kingsbury will be seeking a fourth win out of five this season when he competes on home snow at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Freestyle Ski World Cup Moguls in Calgary over the coming two days.

The reigning Olympic gold medallist and four-time world champion comes into the event on the back of success at another home event, in Mont-Tremblant, last Saturday (January 25).

He currently sits on 380 points at the top of the moguls standings.

Japan's Ikuma Horishima, a two-time world champion, has 320 points in second place and France's Benjamin Cavet is third on 224.

Horishima, who beat Kingsbury to victory in Thaiwoo in China last month, finished in the runner-up spot in Mont-Tremblant and was followed by Cavet.

On the women's side, France's Perrine Laffont is way out in front at the summit of the standings having won all four events so far this season.

The reigning Olympic champion has a maximum 400 points to her name, with Kazakhstan's Yuliya Galysheva second on 182 and Australia's Jakara Anthony third on 174.

Galysheva, the winner of last year's event in Calgary, finished runner-up to Laffont in Thaiwoo and Mont-Tremblant.

Action in Calgary is due to begin tomorrow with men's qualification.

The men's and women's finals are scheduled for Saturday.
