The International Ski Federation (FIS) has announced the winners of its mobile competition, the FIS Alpine World Cup e-Finals.

Running for five days, the mobile application FIS Ski Racing hosted the competition from March 18 to 22, with prizes on offer for those who finished in the top spots throughout the standings.

Players competed for wins in the disciplines slalom, giant slalom, super-G and downhill.

There was a total of 186,174 races.

The overall winner was Canadian player "Darthdadbod", who topped the standings with 380 points, also winning downhill, super-G and giant slalom as well as finishing second in the slalom. 

They were rewarded with the main prize of two VIP tickets for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo in Italy in 2021.

Winning the slalom was the player under the name "Greta Thunberg" from Switzerland - they were awarded with Leki Venom Slalom ski poles signed by giant slalom specialist Stefan Luitz of Germany.

Another Canadian, "Breezy Wilson", won a pair of Fischer skis, "JSW" of Austria won Head Supershape skis and Swiss player "Jannalui" also won a pair of high-performance skis.

Each player, over the space of five days, played an average of 26 races, with 87 countries being represented.

Of those countries, Switzerland had the most active gamers, followed by Canada, Austria and Italy.

The game was downloaded more than 105,000 times over the span of the competition, which was set up due to the cancellation of the rest of the FIS season due to the coronavirus outbreak.
