The Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) has streamed live broadcasts on its Instagram page during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Swimming has taken centre stage on the streams with the technical team of the Paralympic squad featuring.

One broadcast was run by Rafael Martins, the Brazilian Paralympic swimming team's physio.

Other topics covered include sports nutrition and sports medicine.

Live streams have been taking place on Mondays and Thursdays throughout April.

"The action is part of a series of content that the CPB will make available to all those involved in Paralympic sport during the quarantine period due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic," the governing body said.

Brazil has reported more than 25,000 cases of coronavirus and more than 1,500 people have died in the South American nation.

The country finished eighth on the medal table at their home Rio 2016 Summer Paralympics, winning 14 golds.
