The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) has scheduled three Paraclimbing World Cups in the 2021 season.

In the latest boost for the development of Paraclimbing, Innsbruck in Austria, Briançon in France and a venue still to be determined in the United States are set to host World Cups next year.

Action in Innsbruck is due to run from June 22 to 24, with Briançon - host of the 2019 Paraclimbing World Championships - staging a World Cup on July 16.

The American venue, not yet decided by the IFSC, is set to welcome the world's top athletes from October 9 to 10.

Moscow is due to stage the 2021 Paraclimbing World Championships between September 15 and 22.

"I am proud to see that there are now four Paraclimbing competitions in the 2021 schedule, and to see that the Paraclimbing calendar itself has been released earlier than ever," said IFSC Paraclimbing Committee chairman Sebastian Depke.

"I would like to thank all national federations and event organisers for their enthusiasm and for taking the challenge of organising a Paraclimbing World Cup."

The IFSC launched a call for applications to host Paraclimbing World Cups in April of this year.
