The Venezuelan Teqball Federation (FVTEQ) held a presentation of the sport to the main clubs in Carabobo.

Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions about teqball during the presentation.

It was hoped the event would increase teqball participation in Venezuela by encouraging clubs to take up the sport.

"It is a pleasure for us to present and represent the Venezuelan Teqball Federation," said FVTEQ President Pierre Zeitoune.

"We want to encourage the participation of this sport in our country and be part of the exciting movement that is being experienced around the world.

"We want to help and be involved in the training and development of athletes, coaches and referees."

FVTEQ was granted membership of the International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ) just last month.

National Teqball Federations in Iraq, Papua New Guinea, The Bahamas, Bermuda, Uruguay, Ukraine, South Africa, Thailand and South Korea were also granted membership by the FITEQ.

It marked another boost for the FITEQ, which became a full member of the Global Association of International Sports Federations during the umbrella body's General Assembly in November.
