Ukraine and Russia both won gold on day four of the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates, as the competition reaches its halfway stage.

Andrii Doroshenko led a Ukrainian one-two in the R1 men's 10-metre air rifle standing SH1, defeating compatriot Yurii Stoiev in the final round with a score of 246.6 to 245.0.

The bronze medal went to Greek shooter Sotirios Galogavros, who held off the United Arab Emirates' Obaid Aldahmani by 0.5 to take the final place on the podium.

In the other competition today, Russia's Roman Ponomarenko won the PT2 mixed trap standing (lower limb) SG-L with a total of 33.

Runner-up and winner of the silver medal was Kuwait's Bader Almunaifi with 22, while Ponomarenko's compatriot Aleksei Pasternak claimed bronze ahead of Kuwaiti Mohammad Almahmeed.

Ukraine still sit top of the medal table, now with three gold medals, three silver medals and a bronze.
