Monaco Aces produced a faultless display to claim the fourth leg of the Global Champions League in Valkenswaard in The Netherlands.

Belgian Jos Verlooy clocked 70.69secs and 74.18 on board Varoune and Jacobien Dwerse Hagen respectively, while American Laura Kraut, riding Confu, registered 69.06 to help Aces secure a winning combined time of 1min 39.75sec.

Valkenswaard United finished second with 1:41.12 after strong rides from Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander, on board Identity Viseroel, and Italian Alberto Zorzi, mounting Cinsey.

Bahrain’s Bassem Mohammed, riding Gunder, and Germany’s Philip Houston, on board Sandros Bella helped Doha Falcons achieve a time of 1:47.84 to finish third.

London Knights came fourth ahead of Prague Lions, Scandinavian Vikings and Cannes Stars.

Paris Panthers led after the first round but finished in eighth position after the second.

Valkenswaard continue to lead the way in the overall standings after four stages with 102 points.

Shanghai Swans are second with 91 while Monaco’s victory in Valkenswaard saw them climb to third with 72.

In today’s Global Champions League individual classification, Canada’s Eric Lamaze claimed top spot with a time of 63.81 on board Fine Lady.

Belgium’s Jerome Guery, riding Grupo Prom Diego, had to settle for second in 65.88, while Sweden’s Peder Fredricson, mounting H&M All In, was third with 66.43.

Competition in Valkenswaard is due to conclude tomorrow with the Global Champions Tour jump-off.
