French riders Kevin Staut and Julien Epaillard hold a one-two in the standings after the first of two rounds in the CSI5* individual classification at the Global Champions League leg in Berlin.

Staut recorded a time of 65.25sec with horse Iliade KDW Z to take the lead before tomorrow's showjumping second round, in front of his compatriot Epaillard with Solero MS who finished in 66.30.

Rounding off the top three is Ireland's Michael Pender with HHS Fast Forward in 67.24, who is narrowly in front of fellow countryman Darragh Kenny with Vinci de Beaufour in 67.29.

Jérôme Guery of Belgium is in fifth with Great Britain V in 68.00, and German Christian Ahlmann with Calvino is sixth in 68.41.

Egypt's Sameh El Dahan with WKD Aimez Moi, Ireland's Denis Lynch with GC Chopin's Bushi, Michael G Duffy with Vertige de Galarzacs and Germany's Ludger Beerbaum with Cool Feeling complete the current top ten.

As well as the second round of the individual classification in the Global Champions League, the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Berlin is set for tomorrow.
