Woodkid, one of France's most popular artists, has added a special date to his international tour in August to commemorate the handover ceremony from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games to Paris 2024.

In the presence of three-time Olympic champion and International Olympic Committee member Tony Estanguet, the President of Paris 2024, and medal winners on their return from the Tokyo 2020 Games, Woodkid is set to perform a free concert for which he has composed original music.

The Games return to France one hundred years after the last Summer Olympics to be held in the country.

The official handover will take place during the Closing Ceremony at Tokyo 2020 in Japan.

The French public has been invited to participate in the festivities by visiting the Live des Jeux fan zone at the Trocadero in Paris.
