Lala Kramarenko demonstrated she is a force to be reckoned with in rhythmic gymnastics by winning two of the four apparatus finals at the Moscow Grand Prix.

The 17-year-old was triumphant with the ball and clubs at the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace, while also placing second in the ribbon final.

It comes 24 hours after Kramarenko pushed fellow Russian and reigning world champion Dina Averina close in the all-around, finishing only 0.40 points behind.

Kramarenko was an emphatic ball winner, scoring 33.40.

Arina Averina, the European all-around champion and a former ball world champion, was 1.70 points back in second.

Latvia's Jelizaveta Polstjanaja completed the top three.

The winning clubs score was 34.25, with second-placed Elzhana Tanyieva from Kazakhstan - who is even younger at 16 - scoring 32.30.

Dina Averina was third.

Hoop world champion Dina Averina scored 34.70 to win that event, ahead of her twin sister and Latvian Jelizaveta Polstjanaja.

The winning ribbon score was 32.60, with Kramarenko getting 31.95.

Ekaterina Vedeneeva, another Russian, placed third with 30.35 points.

This is the first competition the Averina twins have taken part in since a new code of points came into force.

The 23-year-olds were both struck down by COVID-19 before the competition, according to Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation officials, and so too Kramarenko.
