Kraft was crowned winner of the men’s Raw Air tournament for the second time, after triumphing in the inaugural event in 2017.

The Austrian had won the opening competition in Lillehammer to take the lead in this year’s series, a position he maintained despite an eighth-place result in Oslo yesterday.

His Raw Air title was sealed with a third place today at the same venue.

Tande triumphed in today’s event with a score of 271.2, marking his first individual win since surviving a serious crash at Planica last March.

Tande suffered a broken collarbone, lung injuries, and was placed into a medically induced coma in the accident.

He returned to the World Cup circuit in August following his recovery.

"This is just an insane moment, I don't think anyone expected this, I absolutely didn't expect it myself," he told the international Ski Federation.

"My jumps are getting better and better, I have been good in a few training rounds, but it's more difficult to show these kinds of jumps in a competition. 

"We took it slow and gave ourselves time because nobody expected me to jump like this so soon again. 

"It's easier to take such steps if you don't put any pressure on yourself and just try to enjoy ski jumping."

Slovenia’s Anze Lanisek and Kraft completed the podium today with scores of 267.1 and 266.9, with Germany’s Markus Eisenbichler and Karl Geiger completing the top five.

The result saw Kraft finish top of the Raw Air standings with a total of 1,203.3, with Geiger ending as the runner-up on 1,172.6.

Japan’s Olympic normal hill champion Ryōyū Kobayashi placed third on 1,162.9.

Kobayashi has a slender lead in the overall World Cup standings with four events remaining, with 1,478 points to Geiger’s 1,420.

Kriznar clinched victory in the women's Raw Air competition, as Sara Takanashi of Japan won the fourth and final event.

Takanashi top scored in both rounds to finish with a winning total of 263.9 points.

Olympic champion Ursa Bogataj of Slovenia and Japan’s Yuki Ito rounded off the podium places with scores of 259.3 and 254.6 respectively.

Kriznar placed fourth on 253.2.

The result was enough for the Slovenian to seal the Raw Air title with an overall tally of 1,592.7.

Takanashi was left settling for second place at 39.6 points down, followed by Bogataj at 46.7 behind.

The women’s World Cup season will conclude next week with consecutive competitions at Oberhof in Germany.

Austria’s Marita Kramer is assured of keeping her World Cup lead heading into the final event.

Kramer has a total of 1,226 points overall, with last year’s overall champion Kriznar second on 1,031.
