Chen Chieh-Lun of Chinese Taipei mirrored Jean Philippe Boulch of France, Italy’s Elia Fregnan, and Slovakian Jozef Bosansky, with the four archers scoring 702 to complete the top six.

The women's compound standings were just as close, with Paas claiming top spot on 700 points and Turkey’s Yeşim Bostan finishing two points below.

Colombia’s Sara López, who is a record six-time Archery World Cup champion, levelled Bostan’s tally to finish third while Slovenian archer Toja Ellison, Britain’s Ella Gibson and Colombia’s Alejandra Usquiano trailed López by just a single point.

In the men's team compound event, Turkey clinched the top spot by totalling 2,092.

Denmark took second, scoring four points fewer, and Chinese Taipei came third on 2,087.

The pattern of one-point scores separating the teams continued for the United States in fourth, Britain in fifth and The Netherlands in sixth.

Meanwhile, in the women's team compound, Estonia commanded proceedings thanks to a tally of 2,079.

Chinese Taipei were their closest challengers on 2,061 and Britain followed on 2,058.

The Turkish team impressed in the mixed team compound event where they finished on 1,399 to take top spot.

A pack of teams tightly trailed the Turkish with The Netherlands scoring two points fewer and Britain and Colombia accumulating five points fewer.

Chinese Taipei rounded off the top five with a score of 1,391.

The action is scheduled to continue tomorrow with team matches and the beginning of the recurve event.
