A sky track surrounding the Huanglong Sports Centre, a Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games venue, officially became operational during a youth sports festival.

The one-kilometre orange and red belt, which overlooks Baoshi Hill, stretches across the outside of the stadium is and is divided into two sections – one for walking and another for running.

It is made of prefabricated plastic track material and has an anti-skidding effect.

Cameras located around the stadium are said to measure the participants' movement trajectory, running speed and physical energy consumption.
