The morning session also saw India, who are making their debut, claim their first-ever win as they got the better of Slovenia 7-6.

Australia thumped Mexico 13-4 while Hungary defeated Slovakia 7-2.

The morning session ended as Switzerland shocked England 8-4.

The second round robin session of the day saw Sweden, Japan, Latvia, Germany and Norway post victories.

The most dramatic match was between Germany and Spain with the former edging 7-6 to take the victory.

Sweden recorded a massive 10-2 win over Ireland while Latvia crushed Nigeria 16-3.

Japan also had a strong game as they brushed aside the Czech Republic 9-2.

Norway cruised to a 9-3 win over Ukraine.

Canada meanwhile recovered from their morning session to beat Denmark 8-1 later.

Hungary added one more win for the day by thrashing Luxembourg 8-1.

Finland also secured two out of two wins as they showed no mercy in defeating New Zealand 15-1.

Australia was another team to get two wins from two as they beat Austria 11-2.

India did not have a similar result in their second match, going down 4-7 to Hong Kong.

Th evening session also saw South Korea beat Portugal 6-4.

The final session saw Norway get their second win of the day, after beating Chinese Taipei 6-5.

Ireland had no luck as Japan beat them 8-4.

The second match for Germany turned out to be a more comfortable victory as they cruised past Wales 11-2.

Spain, however, made up for the first loss by getting the better of Croatia 9-1.

The Netherlands suffered a shock 4-5 loss against Estonia while the United States went down 5-9 to Italy.

Finland, South Korea, Japan, Norway, Scotland, Switzerland and Germany are the only teams to win all three games they have played so far.
