The Organising Committee of Rhine-Ruhr 2025 is looking to create a logo for when it hosts the International University Sports Federation (FISU) Summer World University Games, announcing it is looking for creatives.

Creative agencies are being called to create a visual identity for the event, which is to be held in five cities across North Rhine Westphalia - Bochum, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Essen and Mülheim an der Ruhr.

"Our brand identity should reflect the Rhine-Ruhr region's rich history, diversity and growing significance as the hub of sport, education, science and arts," said Rhine-Ruhr 2025 in a statement.

"The identity should also represent the local culture, traditions and the landscape of the metropolitan region."

The deadline for agencies to register interest for this position is Monday (November 14).

Approximately 10,000 student-athletes and officials are set to participate at Rhine-Ruhr 2025, with 170 countries expected to be there.

It is to be the largest multi-sport event to take place in Germany since the Munich 1972 Olympic Games.
