USA Archery has adopted a new logo it is claimed will help the organisation grow the sport leading up to and during the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics and Paralympics.

"With the unveiling of the new logo, USA Archery reaffirms the organisation's commitment to honouring tradition and the rich history of the sport, all while moving towards an even brighter future," chief executive Rod Menzer said.

"At the heart of our efforts is the USA Archery community."

The new logo is a bow and incorporates the colours of the United States flag, as well as a star and stripes.

It has been billed as a sleek and modern motif which can appeal to new audiences.

USA Archery's previous logo also featured a bow, plus an arrow.

Archery is due to be contested at SoFi Stadium during the 2028 Olympics.

The same venue is also scheduled to host Paralympic archery competitions.

USA Archery now boasts more than 25,000 members, setting a new record after 18 consecutive months of membership growth.

It has targeted a home Olympics and Paralympics as a major growth opportunity and recently adopted a strategic plan which runs up to 2028.

The new branding will be rolled out in the coming weeks, according to USA Archery, which has also launched a rebrand microsite to advise members of the changes.
