The slogan of the tournament will be "The floor is yours", which revolves around the simplicity and togetherness of the sport.

Magnus Nilsson, general manager of the World Championships, looks forward to inspiring people to play floorball.

"Hosting the World Floorball Championships in Sweden is a great opportunity to contribute to the international development of our sport," said Nilsson.

"Our goal is to inspire children, young people, and adults to start playing floorball and become part of our fantastic community.

"We want to create a strong experience for everyone in Sweden by focusing on inclusion and engagement. 

"We aim to attract new players and fans to floorball during the 2024 World Championships."

The tournament is scheduled be held from December 7 to 15, with 16 countries competing at the Malmö Arena and Baltic Hall.
