Laffont was able to edge past Jaelin Kauf of the United States in the super final, who she defeated in the moguls yesterday.

The Frenchwoman scored 20 points, while Kauf managed only 15.

Avital Carroll of Austria won the small final to reach the podium as she defeated Hannah Soar of the United States 22 to 13.

Kingsbury, who also was victorious in consecutive days, defeated Walter Wallberg of Sweden 19 to 16 to claim the title.

This is the eighth title for Kingsbury at the World Championships, with six straight golds in the last three tournaments.

Matt Graham of Australia was able to secure the bronze, defeating Kazakhstan's Pavel Kolmakov 20 to 15 in the small final.

Graham has seured two medals at this year's World Championships.

In the ski cross, it was Sweden's Sandra Näslund who collected the women's gold, finishing with a time of 1:25.76.

This was Näslund's fourth World Championhsips title.

Behind her was Austria's Katrin Ofner, who secured a time of 1:27.43, to grab the silver medal.

Fanny Smith of Switzerland achieved the bronze, edging past Canada's Marielle Thompson.

In the men's ski cross, Simone Deromedis of Italy won his first-ever gold medal in any major event, as he posted a time of 1:20.47.

Germany's Florian Wilsmann finished second, with only 0.13 seconds behind the winner.

Erik Mobaerg of Sweden secured third ahead of Canadian Reece Howden.

Näslund continued her winning ways at the team ski event, as she combined with David Mobärg to secure a victory for team Sweden.

Marielle Thompson and Reece Howden did not walk empty handed after finishing fourth in the individual event, as they came second.
