Jarl Magnus Riiber and Gyda Westvold Hansen were both successful in their home country at the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) Nordic Combined World Cup.

Riiber, who has won the World Cup title every season since 2019, achieved a total time of 23min 40.4sec in the 10 kilometres long hill in Oslo.

In second was Julian Schmid of Germany, a Beijing 2022 silver medallist, who was 1:56.5 behind Riiber.

Securing the final podium spot was Johannes Lamparter of Austria, the overall World Cup leader, who was 1:57.9 behind the leader.

In the women's 5km normal hill, Hansen matched her performance from the provisional round, finishing first with a time of 13:42.3 to confirm her World Cup victory.

Her compatriot Ida Marie Hagen secured second, finishing 46.8sec behind.

Third place went to Japan's Anju Nakamura, who ended with a time of 14:36.7.

Hansen has put the finishing touches to the women's season in which she dominated.

The men's competition will continue tomorrow, with Lamparter comfortably at the top of the overall standings with 1,285 points.
