Italy was the next best country, with one gold and three bronze medals.

Australia and Turkey claimed third spot with one gold medal each.

Three-time Olympic champion Kimberly Rhode started the proceedings for the United States, winning the women's skeet title.

Rhode tied with compatriot Samantha Simonton with 38 points before edging her in the shoot-off for the gold medal.

Italian Simona Sciocchetti got bronze with a score of 27.

The 43-year-old Rhode then combined with Vincent Hancock to dominate Eric Delaunay and Lucie Anastassiou of France 6-0 for the skeet mixed team title.

The trap mixed team final saw Americans William Hinton and Alicia Kathleen Gough team up to beat Kuwaiti duo Talal Alrashidi and Sarah Alhawal.

The scoreline was a humbling 6-0 in favour of the United States.

Turkey’s two-time world champion Oğuzhan Tüzün claimed the men’s trap gold with a score of 33.

Tokyo 2020 trap bronze medallist Matthew Coward-Holley of Britain took silver with 30 points, while bronze went to India’s Prithviraj Tondaiman, who manged 20.

Olympic and world champion Gabriele Rossetti of Italy bagged the only gold medal for his country by winning the men’s skeet title, edging Hancock 39-38 for the gold.   

Rossetti’s compatriot Luigi Lodde settled for bronze after scoring 27 points.

Three-time world medallist and champion in Moscow in 2017, Penny Smith, stole the show for Australia by winning the women's trap title.

She was level on pints with Slovakia’s Tokyo 2020 champion Zuzana Rehák-Štefečeková on 28 points.

But Smith remained calm in the shoot-off to take the gold while Gough completed the last podium spot with a score of 20.

The World Cup season is heading to Bhopal in India, where a rifle and pistol event is scheduled to be held from March 20 to 27.
