Raiffeisen is a co-operative bank based in Austria that operates throughout central and Eastern Europe, which established in 1927 by founder Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen, and now has over 55,400 full-time employees distributed in around 2,850 outlets, serving over 11.7 million clients.

Innsbruck 2012 remain optimistic they can secure further sponsors for the Games and a statement on their website says: "The Olympic brand embodies qualities which almost every company would like to be associated with.

"The Innsbruck Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (IYOGOC) is responsible for handling all sponsoring opportunities available through the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games and offers companies the chance to become part of the 1st Winter Youth Olympic Games in three sponsorship categories: National Premium Partners, Official Sponsors, Official Suppliers.

"Sponsors make financial contributions and provide products and/or services.

"In return, they receive the exclusive right to be associated with the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games as well as a category-dependent sponsor package which may be used for communication purposes within Austria."

So far, Austrian newspaper Tiroler Tageszeitung is the only official sponsor of the Innsbruck 2012 Youth Olympics while BOE Building Property Development in Innsbruck is currently the only official supplier of the Games.

The first Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) take place in Tyrol from January 13–22 2012, with 1,058 athletes aged between 14 and 18 competing in 15 different winter sport disciplines.
