The group is subject to approval by the United States Olympic Committee and qualification for the 2012 Olympic Games in London by Team USA.

The US team will compete in an Olympic Qualification Tournament in London on April 18-22 for a chance to qualify in the team and duet competitions at the Games next year.

The nominees for the 2012 team are Megan Hansley, Mary Killman, Maria Koroleva, Michelle Moore, Olivia Morgan, Leah Pinette, Caitlin Stewart, Michelle Theriault and Alison Williams.

Morgan Fuller, meanwhile, was named as the reserve and will train with the team.

Team USA is coming off silver medal victories in team and duet at last month's Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, under the new coach, Mayuko "Mayu" Fujiki.

Killman and Koroleva teamed up for the first time to earn their silver medal in duet.

Fujiki was named coach in January 2011 after helping lead the Spanish national team to silver medals at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and victory at the FINA World Trophy in 2010.
