The six athletes have been chosen for their passion, dedication and embodiment of Chobani's "Nothing But Good" motto in both their personal and professional lives.

Lauren Cheney (pictured above), the Beijing 2008 soccer Olympic gold medallist, has been selected alongside the women's 400 metre hurdles world champion Lashinda Demus.

They are joined by double Olympic swimming champion Matt Grevers, double Olympic taekwondo champion Steven Lopez and world championship bronze medallist in gymnastics John Orozco.

Allison Jones (pictured below), the Beijing 2008 Paracycling silver medallist who has also won four Winter Paralympic medals in alpine skiing, completes the impressive line-up.

"Like Chobani, these six inspiring athletes are driven by heart," said the President and chief executive of Chobani, Hamdi Ulukaya.

"We too began our journey with a dream.


"With hard work and the support of our amazing employees, farmers, local communities and fans, we turned an abandoned factory into a near billion dollar business in less than five years.

"It's an honour to be naturally powering Team Chobani and Team USA and supporting them on their journey to the London Games to help their Olympic and Paralympic dreams come true."

The six Team Chobani athletes will now be featured in mix of television, digital and out-of-home advertising through to London 2012's conclusion.

"It's great to have Chobani available at the training centre because it plays such an important role in my training diet by providing me with high quality protein – especially in the recovery phase of my workouts," said Orozco.

As the official packaged yogurt provider to the USOC and Team USA, Chobani Greek Yogurt will be made available to every athlete living or training at the US Olympic Training Centres in Colorado Springs, Chula Vista and Lake Placid.

In addition, Chobani will follow Team USA to London where it will be served at the USA House and High Performance Training Centre during the Games.

The deal between the USOC and Chobani runs until 2014 and represents a new sponsor and category addition for the USOC.
