Westfield will also be an Official Supplier to the AOC, although there are no firm plans as yet for the Australian team to join the British Olympic Association (BOA) in having a "House" within the Westfield site.

The reception will take place on Thursday July 26, the day before the Opening Ceremony, at the Southern Cross Lounge in Westfield Stratford City.

This prestigious event on the eve of the Games will be a highlight of the AOC's London events calendar and will be the only occasion where all of the Australian team and Olympic family will gather in one place during the Games.

Westfield will also work closely with the AOC to provide on-site athlete support facilities for the team's requirements outside of the Olympic Village, capitalising on the proximity of Westfield Stratford City which is located just 200 metres from the Village.

The AOC will have office facilities in Westfield for the operation of a state-of-the-art video analysis and editing services suite for coaching and support personnel.
