July 4 - World champion Zara Phillips (pictured) has admitted that her chances of competing in the eventing at the London 2012 Olympics hinge on whether she will be able to find a suitable horse in time.

Phillips, the 29-year-old granddaughter of the Queen, has missed the last two Olympics in Athens and Beijing because her mount Toytown has been injured.

She said: "I'm just trying to get a good enough team together of horses for London.

"I'm just working away.

"I haven't had any horses good enough, really."

Phillips rode Toytown when she claimed the world title at Aachen in 2006.

She said: "I'm massively lucky that I had my best horse of my life very early on.

"I had a lot of success with him and you only get that one horse in a lifetime.

"You get good horses, but he was unique, and now I have to find another that could be as good as him.

"I'm really excited for 2012.

"It will be awesome to ride at home, but I just have to get there first."
