Our reporter Patrick O’Kane has travelled to Cheongju to bring you all the news, as-it-happens from the Sukwoo Culture Gym.

Covering all the Finals and Awarding Ceremonies, the LIVE BLOG started yesterday with the Opening Ceremony and will run through to the Closing Ceremony on Sunday.

There are over 500 Sambists from 79 countries, and both men and women will compete in Sport Sambo and men in Combat Sambo.

A blind sambo demonstration took place today highlighting the importance of blind sambo to the International Sambo Federation FIAS.

There are 27 gold medals to be won with each medal winner collecting a money prize.
