The Academy, an international conference for sports leaders, have announced that co-founder of Bacharach Leadership Group and Cornell University professor Samuel Bacharach has joined as a speaker, at the conference due to take place in the Olympic capital Lausanne on May 27 and 28.
He will offer his thoughts on influential skills and negotiation with stakeholders with Academy participants and joins sports business guru Patrick Nally as a confirmed speaker at the conference, organised by TSE Consulting and for which insidethegames is the exclusive media partner.
The Bacharach Leadership Group specialise in training leaders at all organisational levels in skills that will we ideas brought forward from the germination phase to having them implemented and focus on micro-skills approaches that cover mobilising, coaching and enhancing and negotiating.
Samuel Bacharach is a frequent speaking on themes of leadership and skills necessary to obtain results, with his most recent books including Get Them On Your Side, Keep Them On Your Side and his soon to be published book Leader to Go the Distance.
Bacharach has a list of recent clients including Cisco, SunGard and Warner Music, with its material has been used by several Fortune 500 companies.
The announcement of Bacharach as a speaker at the Academy comes with just two weeks left of the early bird discount, which would see people save €200 (£148/$228) when they register meaning the price of the conference would be €590 (£436/$672) rather than the full price of €790 (£584/$900).
He will join a variety of organisations and organisations from global sports, with National Federations of sports such as athletics, archery, speed-skating and wrestling all set to attend and share how they can benefit from world leader experts in their fields.
The programme of speakers will focus on three main themes, how to unlock new potential revenue streams, how to engage with fans and members in new ways and how to become more influential as a leader and as an organisation.
Individuals from Canada, Congo, Denmark, Iran, Peru and Turkey have already confirmed their attendance at the Academy, highlighting the diverse nature of the event, which various backgrounds ensuring that various opinions and expertise can be shared between nations.
The event will take place at the newly renovated Olympic Museum and will feature a series of keynote speeches, presentations and interactive sessions.
