Belgium’s Kenny De Ketele and Moreno De Pauw remain top of the men’s standings following the penultimate day of action at the Six Day Series in Amsterdam.

The duo, who have held the lead since day one, ended on a total of 515 points - 27 more than Germany’s Leif Lampater and Marcel Kalz.

The Germans have been their closet challengers throughout and reduced the deficit by 23 points today thanks in part to their victory in the team elimination event.

Switzerland's Tristan Marguet and Claudio Imhoff were the star performers, moving up to third place with triumphs in the longest lap and madison chase events.

They now have 441 points, giving them a cushion of 28 over home favourites Yoeri Havik and Wim Stroetinga who won today’s 60-lap derny B final.

De Ketele and De Pauw’s best result of the day came in the team elimination as they finished runners-up to Lampater and Kalz.
